As you can imagine, building a home is stressful for so many reasons- financially and emotionally, especially with a deadline thrown into the mix. My babies are growing rapidly, and with plans to expand my family next year, it was simply time to increase living space. Mid-Cities Engineering came as word-of-mouth recommendation. There are not enough words of praise to even begin describing the exceptional service that Ivan provided in the last year. As this is my first project, I had no idea what to expect and pretty much am surviving the process by the 'ignorance is bliss' motto because I blindly trusted him. My gut instinct was not wrong. The lengths that Ivan went through to ensure that my 1,200 square foot project went as smoothly as possible is unsurpassed. He was available for every text, phone call, and email after hours and on the weekends (my project is in Sherman Oaks). Not once did Ivan lose his patience with me (I know I was plenty neurotic). He was on the phone for countless hours with the City of Los Angeles, making sure that my project was progressing (it's always a nightmare dealing with the city, but exacerbated with this pandemic). Ivan presented options for different crews and negotiated fantastic prices for my project. We've hit a few bumps along the way, but I could always rest assured that Ivan would resolve my issues.
